Ideal for: Any type of beer, from golden lagers to darker ales

Flavouring and colouring crystal malt. A common synonym for Caramunich is “Crystal light”. As this malted grain is of the crystal variety it does not need to be mashed as the kilning process has rendered the sugars available.

Adding this malted grain to your brew will impart a slight sweet caramel flavour as well as a red tinge to the beers colour. Hence Crystal light suits a variety of beer styles ranging from lagers to red ales.
