Top Shelf Banana Schnapps

Top Shelf Banana Schnapps is a 50ml Still Spirits Top Shelf liqueur flavouring. With a Schnapps Liqueur Base and 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka it makes 1.125 litres of finished liqueur. Still Spirits describes it as "Sweet with notes of fresh banana."

What it tastes like

A sweet, clear banana liqueur with the fresh fruit rather than the confected kind. It goes into a banana daiquiri or a banana split shot, and a splash lifts a plain vodka and lemonade.

How to make it

Make up the Schnapps Liqueur Base as per the pack, shake this bottle and add it with 650ml of 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka, then top up to 1.125 litres with water. It is ready to pour the same day.

The spirit can be bought vodka or your own neutral spirit off an Air Still Pro or Turbo 500. Because a liqueur is sweet, it is more forgiving of a base spirit than a straight vodka essence is, but a carbon-filtered spirit still gives a cleaner result.

When to choose this one
