A rich, chocolatey brew. Featuring chocolate & crystal malts along with a chocolate essence, this porter possesses a big cocoa hit up front, with notes of biscuit, coffee & caramel to round it out. NOTE: For the sweet-toothed, we suggest adding up to 500g of lactose. This will smooth out the beer and make it taste just like milk chocolate!

Recipe Kit Double Choc Porter
Top drop, I give 5 stars only because I can’t give it 10. Definitely for those with a sweet tooth, especially with the added Lactose, absolutely delicious.

Recipe Kit Double Choc Porter
I brewed this recipe in the last part of summer, much to the disdain of the the owner of my local craft brewery who told me "it's a winter beer ". I made it anyway, it did take me a while to hook the keg up which happened to coincide with the weather cooling down. I was that impressed with it I bottled some and took it to my local (Hard Road brewing) and was really happy when the owner, his wife and the regular barman all tried it and said it was a great beer, the bottle didn't last long! Recommend it easy to make and even easier to drink, five stars.
