If you love Ireland's best loved stout – Guinness - you will be wrapped with this beer.
Our Famous Irish Stout recipe has a distinctive dark roasty, coffee-like flavour and aroma, imparted by a decent helping of dark malts and roasted black malt. Hop bitterness and a touch of lactose enhances the balance, and the medium body makes for a very drinkable dark beer with a smooth full finish.

Questions
Recipe Kit The Famous Irish Stout
It does indeed taste similar to Guinness. But in my opinion it tastes much better than Guinness. This was a month after bottling. I expect that it is only going to improve with age.

Recipe Kit The Famous Irish Stout
The kit comes with everything you need, it was a really easy to brew and I followed the instructions supplied, packaging and grain quality was excellent. I pressure fermented and cold crashed it for a couple of weeks in the fermenter before kegging. It just got better and better from the get go over time. If you like a dark beer like an Old, Sheaf Stout or Guinness you will like this. When really cold and not over carbonated it was creamy and looked and behaved just as good as it tasted! Thanks AHB I am going to go again! Cheers, hope this is helpful!

Recipe Kit The Famous Irish Stout
I have this ready for a long hard Canberra winter so will let it relax for a few more months and will let you know how it goes. Smell perfect now so can't wait to try.

Recipe Kit The Famous Irish Stout
The recipe kit was received complete and in good condition. i found the process for making up the brew was easily understood and carried out.
The product has now been bottled and I am waiting for the 6-week stand-in-the-bottle period to run its course so I can compare it to the Superstout brews I have previously made'
One small criticism: it would be helpful if suggested/recommended OG and FG information could have been provided

Recipe Kit The Famous Irish Stout
I brewed this one as my Winter Stout in 2020. It is a spot on clone of Guinness Export Stout (I've enjoyed the actual one on many previous occasions). This version is well bodied, low on carbonation, creamy with a slight sweet finish and great mouth feel. Super easy to brew. Highly recommend especially for those of you that have not attempted a stout previously, you won't be disappointed.
